Who Do You Smile for? Enter the #SkoroFights Contest
October is breast cancer awareness month and a lot of us have been touched by this terrible disease. As cancer research continues and treatment improves, many people are winning the battle!
Who do you smile for?
Help Us Raise Awareness
Dr. Andy and his staff want to see your beautiful smile in honor of someone in your life that is battling or has beaten breast cancer. And we’re willing to put our money where our mouths are!
To show our gratitude for helping us raise awareness, we will reward each entry with 10 Smile Rewards Points and a $5.00 donation to the American Cancer Society. At the end of October, we will choose three (3) winners to receive an additional 20 Smile Rewards Points!
Here’s How it Works
By participating in the “I Smile For…” Facebook contest, you’ll help raise awareness and funds for cancer research! Honor those people in your life that have been affected by breast cancer. The contest runs through October 31, 2016.
Here’s what you need to do:
- Tell us who you smile for by making an “I Smile For…” sign that contains the name of the person in your life that is battling or has beaten breast cancer.
- Snap a photo with the sign and a great big smile!
- Post your photo, a short story about why you smile, and the hashtag #SkoroFights on Dr. Andy’s Facebook page.
We’ll award you 5 Smile Rewards Points just for participating. There is no limit to how many points you can receive, so keep those smiles and those pictures coming!
Plus, three photos will be chosen at random at the end of the month from all the entries we receive. The patients whose photos are chosen will receive 20 BONUS Smile Rewards Points!
Children Can Participate Too
If your child is a patient of Dr. Andy, but doesn’t have a Facebook account, he or she can still participate! Simply post your child’s photo, a short story, and the hashtag #SkoroFights on Dr. Andy’s Facebook page and add your child’s name to the caption. We’ll know where to send the points!

Did you know that cancer treatment can affect your oral health too? Read more in our “Oral Complications of Cancer Therapy” blog article. If you’d like to make a donation to the American Cancer Society, stop in our office. We have donation canisters in the reception area. We’ll take care of the turning over the funds at the end of the month with our own contributions.
